Plastic City (2016)

Plastic City is a piece that talks about marine life being affected by the pollutio, and over-development of the city. This the troupe first production, started by many experiments with trial and error using different abandoned materials and turning them into puppets and sets.

The Present (2019)

The Present is a collaboration project between Thailand and Malaysia. An output of mentorship-project between Plasticity Theatre Troupe and Homemade Puppet.

This story touches on environmental destruction again through a little boy’s fantasy journey. The outcome was premiered at Chiang Mai Empty Space, Uttaradit Toy Yim Festival, and Penang.

This production talks about death and abuse in custody, based on a true story, a rare court case of winning over police that happened in Malaysia.

This is a collaboration with human rights NGOs (SUARAM Penang and EDICT) with aim to create public awareness about this issue, as all these cases have been happening around us but unfortunately getting very little attention.
