"A phone call announces a death of a father in custody. A tragedy for the family, a question for the rest of us. Whether they have committed a crime or not, do people behind bars deserve such inhumane treatment?"
This production talks about death and abuse in custody, based on a true story, a rare court case of winning over police that happened in Malaysia.
This is a collaboration with human rights NGOs (SUARAM Penang and EDICT) with aim to create public awareness about this issue, as all these cases have been happening around us but unfortunately getting very little attention.
